Reunert's corporate social investment focus is on children, the youth and education. The majority of CSI funding goes towards the Reunert Learning Institute, the group's flagship project, and the Nashua Children's Charity Foundation (NCCF).
The institute’s year-long programme strengthens core academic competencies while embedding essential life and social skills that prepare learners for further study and meaningful participation in the workplace. Through mentorship, guidance and structured support, learners are equipped to realise their potential and pursue sustainable career paths. Many graduates go on to receive bursaries and secure employment opportunities within the Group.
In 2025, the Reunert Learning Institute achieved a 100% pass rate, reflecting the quality and impact of its educational model. The programme currently engages 21 township schools and, since inception, has supported the academic advancement of 2 170 learners. Together, these outcomes underscore Reunert’s continued investment in empowering young people and contributing to the long-term development of the communities in which it operates.
The NCCF provides comprehensive support to children’s organisations, charities, special-needs facilities and schools. This includes the provision of nutritious meals, groceries, cleaning materials and toiletries, as well as educational support such as school uniforms, school bags, stationery and learning equipment. The foundation also invests in infrastructure improvements, including building renovations and the supply of essential items such as bunk beds, mattresses and linen, creating safer and more dignified living environments for children.
In FY25, the NCCF supported approximately 150 children’s organisations and more than 20 charities, distributing 15 000 meals to indigent children. Through its focus on education, nutrition and child welfare, Reunert contributes meaningfully to strengthening the social foundations that underpin South Africa’s long-term economic resilience.
